Website & Digital Specialist

OBJECTIVE:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the primary websites and digital presence of PIPESTONE. Working closely with the Marketing & Information Technology teams, and vendors to ensure web and digital presence are aligned with and support the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Serve as the project manager on any site redesign, web-related or app projects.
  • Draft wire-frames and design web pages to stay on Pipestone brand while ensuring a positive user-experience.
  • Manage our e-commerce platform. Shoot and edit high quality product photos and write product descriptions. Ensure smooth order processing from web to our accounting system.
  • Help troubleshoot & ensure website errors/issues are solved in a timely manner.
  • Develop and manage training to customers and employees on website resources.
  • Optimize content to improve SEO for key services and providers.
  • Provide analytic reporting and offer actionable recommendations leveraging Google Analytics and other analytic tools.
  • Ability to film, design, and edit professional video materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Planning stories, designs, concepts and graphics for video production.
  • Oversee scripting, voice over, photography, and complete video design process.
  • Assist with other marketing and communication projects as needed

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Education: Marketing, Digital Media or related degree

Experience: Experience with web design, e-commerce sites, and video production.

Required Skills:  This individual will be detail oriented and possess interpersonal skills that will allow them to effectively problem solve, communicate a plan of action, and motivate the team to complete the plan of action. 

Physical Requirements:  
  • Standing, walking and ability to be on feet 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Frequent bending, reaching, squatting and kneeling
  • Frequent use of one or both hands/arms to grasp or pull
  • Frequent lifting of objects weighing 3-20 pounds
  • Occasional bending while pulling and/or lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, or requiring up to 50 pounds of force to move
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to attend and participate in meetings of various lengths

Additional Requirements:   
  •  Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to work.
  • Must be willing to attend early morning or evening meetings as needed. 
  • Must be willing to travel overnight to other Pipestone locations periodically.
