Research assistant for NSF-funded anthropological project on relationship between digital social connections and immune biology. $15/hour for ~ 5-10 hours of work per week, Spring 2021 semester.
Desired skills:
1.     Background in anthropological, sociological, or other social scientific perspectives on health and well-being, and in particular psychological and/or biocultural anthropological perspectives on health and well-being.
2.     Experience with cognitive and psychological anthropological research methods (e.g., free lists, pile sorts, cultural consensus and consonance analysis, etc.).
3.     Interviewing skills related to data collection and analysis (including interview transcription).
4.     Questionnaire construction and analysis skills (some statistical background desirable).
5.     Experience working with biological samples (blood, collected both via dried bloodspots and/or venously), or readiness to learn. 

Hourly Pay Rate : $15/hour
