Our team is part of the Security organization, responsible for developing products and platforms focused on security. Our Page Integrity Engineering team develops innovative products, focusing on client-side threats. We defend our customers users from ever-changing attack and data theft methods. We provide distributed protection from web attacks with on-demand scalability.

You will have the opportunity to join us for trainings, networking events, and engagements with company leadership. Our 12-week intern program starts in May, and our 6-month co-op program starts in January or July.

Get ready to engage in the new development, maintenance, and quality assurance of our content delivery and web acceleration products. Collaborating across multiple functions, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle. Projects include data science and machine learning, DevOps, and software engineering components.
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Participating in the design, development, testing, deployment and production monitoring of new features
- Partnering internationally with product management, technical writers, and service delivery professionals to implement features into production
- Augmenting customer-facing products' APIs using DevOps best practices
- Gathering and analyzing data to root out errors, discern trends, and diagnose complex customer-facing issues in our products
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be currently studying in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science or another related field
- Be available to work 40 hours per week and returning to school after the internship
- Be comfortable with Python, Java, and one or more databases such as: MongoDB, mySQL, PostgreSQL
- Have experience with machine learning (ML) algorithms and natural language processing (NLP) (nice to have)
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to articulate technical information in a clear manner
- Be willing to learn new technologies and committed to delivering the best results
