Software Engineer (Machine Learning) Intern - Summer 2021
Position Description:
Lenovo's Cloud & Software Engineering Lab is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our 2021 Summer Internship Program.
You will be working towards building an end-to-end pipeline that uses machine learning, web services, databases, etc. The position requires a mindset for both research and implementation kind of work. You will be expected to work in an agile environment. We are looking for passionate and driven students who are willing to learn and want to make an impact in a fast-paced global technology environment.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
Are pursuing a B.S degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related majors
Have experience in Linux operating environments and command line interface
Preferred Requirements:
* • Have good Python programming skills
• Are knowledgeable in machine learning and data processing
• Are knowledgeable in Python data visualization libraries.
• The ability to learn quickly and work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Are comfortable collaborating with the team via version control system like git
• Have experience with big data processing platform like Hadoop/Spark
• Have exposure to popular deep-learning frameworks like TensorFlow/Keras
• Have knowledge of Cloud Provider services like AWS, Azure, Databricks
• Have knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Qliksense.
