Business Data Analyst Intern – Human Resources

The Talent Management Team is responsible for designing, developing, and executing strategic people development programs and solutions across Juniper. Our mission is to drive organizational alignment and the development of individual, team and organizational capabilities. As a Talent Management Intern, you will:
 
  • Get the opportunity to contribute to high-impact global projects
  • Gain hands-on experience and exposure to the business environment
  • Be supervised by a mentor, learn, and develop skills in field of study
  • Work with a talented and fun team who cares deeply about employees’ (and interns’) development
  • Participate in HR virtual social events and other company’s activities
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Partner with the Talent Management team to conduct focus groups and collect findings
  • Analyze large sets of people data and generate insights
  • Conduct workforce and organizational behavior research
  • Partner with the Employee Engagement strategy team to establish a sustainable process for gathering employee sentiment from social platforms and resources external to Juniper
  • Establish a mechanism for turning employee engagement and listening data into actionable insights for the business
  • Prepare presentations based on findings
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Requirements:
 
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Planning and organizing
  • MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Experience working with data sets in MS Excel
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor/master’s degree and returning to school following completion of the summer internship
