Food & Beverage Procurement Internship - Winter 2021-2022

PURPOSE OF POSITION: This position provides an important link between receiving product and the distribution of that project to the various departments within Deer Valley Resort. Receives, stores and issues supplies in accordance with company policy and systems. Assist in the creation and implementation of tools, enablers and strategies to streamline the P2P process.

▪ Must be 21 years or older

▪ This is a physical job that requires moving product around the lodge. Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry 50 lbs.

▪ Computer knowledge – Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI a plus

▪ Able to read and do simple arithmetic

▪ Conscientious and thorough

▪ Able to work well with coworkers

▪ Self-motivated

▪ Need to be flexible with time and schedule. Schedules vary from 6:00 am - 9:00 pm, weekends and holidays required 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

▪ Receive product from purveyors

▪ Inspect product upon delivery to assure it matches product invoices

▪ Check all invoices to make sure they match the quantities ordered

▪ Add new product to existing inventory by placing it in the correct location and restocking the computer-based inventory

▪ Process requisitions received from various departments by pulling the order, entering the order in the computer inventory, charging the order to the correct department and delivering the order in a timely manner

▪ Store and issue products to maintain proper rotation of inventory, FIFO

▪ Keep storeroom areas neat and clean

▪ Stakeholder management

▪ Develop inventory PAR levels

▪ POS analytics and dashboard development

▪ Conduct weekly inventory of dry goods, beer, wine and liquor and reconcile any discrepancies

▪ Invoice reconciliation

▪ Supplier management

▪ Additional duties as assigned
