Student Equipment Manager
The Colorado State University Athletic Department has an opening for Student Equipment Managers to work in the Moby Arena Equipment Room provide primary support to Men’s and Women’s Golf, Men’s and Women’s Track, Field, and Cross Country, Women’s Tennis, and Women’s Swimming and Diving, while also providing supplemental support for the Department. Student Equipment Managers will report to the Olympic Sports Equipment Managers.
Student Equipment Managers will assist with the day-to-day equipment needs of the aforementioned sports. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: daily laundry, issuance and collection of equipment, maintenance and repair of equipment, inventory tracking, package delivery, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include: excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work independently with little direction or oversight, ability to cope with changing priorities, rolling deadlines, and a fast-paced environment. Previous experience as an athlete or Equipment Manager preferred, but not required. Applicants must currently be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Colorado State University and have work study.
Applicants who are selected for hire will begin work on August 24, 2020 and will work throughout the academic year. Work hours will be scheduled based on class schedule.
This position requires the ability to lift at least 75 lbs, as well as the ability to jog and/or run short distances.
