MFG- Tech Ops Intern

We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a bachelor's degree in biological science or an equivalent field of study for an internship assignment during the summer of 2021. 

The MFG-Tech Ops Intern will partner with Manufacturing and MS&T for documentation of product lifecycle (e.g., changes to product, manufacturing dates, deviations associated). The goal will be for commercialized products to have site specific process description documents built for use onsite.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly investigate/perform root cause analysis, identify potential issues and propose solutions through verbal and written communication.
  • Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of practical problems.
  • Partner with MS&T and Manufacturing to solve process and equipment related problems.
  • Apply understanding, knowledge, and sense of when to stop and seek input and approval from management.
 
Requirements:
  • Rising sophomore, junior, or senior working toward a bachelor's degree in biological science or related field.
  • Knowledgeable of application and practices of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Technical writing skills preferred.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft application tools proficiency (MS Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Good organizational skills, Situational Leadership
  • Decision-making skills.
