Legal Intern

LEGAL INTERN
Location: Remote, USA
Internship Summary:
Support the legal function in preparing and reviewing various policies and procedures, playbooks and other documents within the legal function, particularly related to trade compliance. Prepare process maps and summaries for the trade compliance function. Second, perform similar tasks in support of global trademarks relating to searching, prosecution, and enforcement efforts. Finally, support various other legal projects as may be needed.

Internship Job Duties:
  • Collecting information and preparing summaries, charts and PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to analyze information and make improvement recommendations
  • Conduct legal research
Internship Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Law student preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Ability Requirements: 
  •  Ability to work within Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient in preparing PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong communications skills
  • Familiarity with the law
Students who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited institution with a current class standing of sophomore or above and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 are eligible for internships at Zoetis. Students must also be 18 years of age or older prior to their scheduled start date and be able to provide verification that they are enrolled in school and authorized to participate in an internship in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship. Students who are offered internships will need to successfully pass a drug screen and background check within 5 days of offer.
