HOW YOU’LL FLY
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual who is excited to learn more about supporting GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing related processes via the supply chain. This internship will directly support the Supply Chain Materials Planner.
The incumbent will also contribute to and lead projects supporting all aspects of the Supply Chain team, which is comprised of Materials Planning, Production Planning, Warehouse Operations, and Oracle SCM governance.
 
As a Supply Chain Full-Time Intern bird reporting to Sterling Riggs, you'll help to bring more patients their bluebird days by:
·      Assist in the planning and timing of material purchase requisitions to support Manufacturing and Quality Control activities.
·      Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Validation to assist in scheduling site operations and work order execution.
·      Analyze and review Oracle SCM data to ensure master data integrity.
·      Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Control to understand short-term and long-term demand.
·      Collaborate with the Warehouse team to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
·      Support engagement with site vendors for the execution of purchase orders.
·      Conduct research, gather and analyze data, prepare and/or review documents, reports, and presentations.
·      Other related tasks as needed
 
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
You’re the bird we’re looking for if you:
·      Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
·      Must be a rising junior, rising senior, or graduate student with a 3.0 GPA or above.
·      Excellent computer skills to include: demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and Word, and familiarity/capability in most other Microsoft Office applications.
·      Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment.
·      Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
·      Possess the (Ability to work a three-month assignment, full-time – June 7 – August 27)
·      This position is intended to be on-site in our Durham, NC, location. Candidates must be commutable to this location or willing to relocate (relocation not available for this position).
