Customer Service/Textbook Sales
Customer Service / Textbook Sales Associate in the CSU Bookstore · Must be available to work throughout the year including periods when CSU classes are not in session. This includes fall, winter, and spring breaks. Summer availability is also required; CSU Bookstore is open year round.·
Start Date: ASAP
Generally 6-12 hours per week. Hours will increase during peak times.
Class schedule is taken into consideration when classes are in session.
Pay: $12.32 per hour
Provides High Level of Customer Service
Creates a friendly atmosphere at all times for customers and staff
Directs and assists customers to products and services
Answers phones and is comfortable conversing with customers
Calls publishers and helps with ordering textbooks
General organizational skills
Explains products and services to customers
Makes recommendations on alternative products to customers
Gives customers undivided attention
Cash register operations: Cash, check, credit card, gift certificate, refunds, exchanges
Actively work with store managers, supervisors, and student staff to meet customer needs
