Music Therapy Research Project Coordinator
Job Description:
Seeking a self-motivated, organized, and reliable individual to coordinate a community research project. This individual will coordinate research participation, communicate with a community partner organization, collect and manage data, and coordinate project research assistants.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial community participant intake conversation (V/WC; GC)
- Create research materials. (DP, PA)
- Assist in collection and management of data (DP, PA, L, CP/PS)
- Coordinate community participants and student research assistants (L; V/WC; DP)
- Engage in ongoing communication with the research team and community partner orginization (L; TW; V/WC)
Required Skills:
- Be punctual, reliable, and communicate availability professionally with community member(s), student research assistants, and community partner (PA, V/WC)
- Able to create research materials based on provided templates (DP, V/WC)
- Able to connect with others (V/WC, L)
- Use Zoom to conduct virtual meetings (DP, L)
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience or current interest in working with older adults. (GC, L)
- Experience coordinating appointments and group meetings (DP, L, TW)
- Knowledge of how to share screen and sound in Zoom. (DP)
- Previous experience managing a sponsored research project. (DP, V/WC, PA, TW, L, CT/PS)
Hourly Pay Rate: $15/hour
