Student Development Coordinator, Vice President for Research Advancement

The pay range for this position is $12.32- $17.50/hr. 

The Vice President for Research Advancement team is seeking a Student Development Coordinator! This position will support development communications, donor and alumni relations, and general office functions. This is a part-time, professional internship.

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Administrative support to the Vice President for Research Advancement team (executing/submitting forms, assisting with mailers, maintaining organization of team documents and shared drive) DP, V/WC, PA
  • Meeting and event assistance (scheduling, name tags, set-up/clean-up, etc.) PA, TW
  • Database management (data entry, generating/pulling reports, etc.) DP, CT/PS
  • Liaison to other University offices V/WC, TW
  • Special projects, as assigned C, PA, SR
 
What We are Looking For 

Required Qualifications  
  • Undergraduate student in good academic standing
  • Creative, motivated, and self-directed
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Very strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable interacting with high-level staff, faculty, and constituents
  • Professional and customer-service oriented
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Programs
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Must be willing to work during both the fall and spring semesters 
  • Must be available to work 10-15 hours on-campus at the University Services Center, between 8 am- 5 pm, Monday- Friday
  • This is a work‐study position; all applicants must be eligible for work‐study to apply
 
Preferred Qualifications (but not required)  
  • Availability to work during holiday breaks and over the summer  

Additional Job Details 
  • Pay rate: $12.32 - $16.50/hr for undergraduate students; $13.75-$17.50/hr for graduate students. UA student pay rates are commensurate with class standing and previous experience
  • Anticipated start date: August 1, 2021

Who We Are 

The division of University Advancement at CSU is responsible for raising private financial support for the University. Our 165 staff members have raised over $1.2 billion for CSU in just the last 8 years. We facilitate individuals, corporations, foundations, and other university constituents giving back to campus priorities like faculty research, student scholarships, new buildings, and new programs that benefit our community and our students. We also help university alumni, donors and friends stay connected to CSU through events, communications, the Alumni Association and more.  

The Vice President for Research Advancement team is responsible for raising private support for Colorado State University research endeavor. Private support comes in several forms, including funds donated by individuals, research grants secured by faculty and staff, and corporate sponsorships.
