Construction Management Internship Summer 2021
Location: Silver Springs, Maryland
Onsite. (Not remote eligible)
 
Responsibilities
We are seeking a college student majoring in construction management, architectural engineering, project management, project engineering, or general contracting to assist us with transition process to newly deployed project management software. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Creation of automated forms, punch lists, etc. for existing field productivity operational procedures across every step of the process from prequalification, bid management, project management, quality & safety, BIM, project financials, invoice management, customer, and subcontractor relationship management databases.
  • Collaboration on process workflow mapping.
  • Data entry.
 
Candidate will have exposure to all parts of the working business connected to construction.
  • To include but not limited to:
  • Project Management
  • Subcontractor management & contract writing
  • Submittal procedures
  • Design management
  • Proposal writing and estimating

Required Qualifications
  • Pursuing a major or minor in any of the following: Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Project Management, Project Engineering, or General Contracting.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Availability Monday – Friday, 20 to 24 hours, between the hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm from July 1, 2021 to September 24th, 2021

  • Innovation, Creativity, & Collaboration enjoys contributing unique ideas, brainstorming, bouncing ideas around & upgrading thought on others ideas.
  • Familiarity with any construction management software a plus

Pay Rate & Availability
$16/HR 20 to 24 hours a week
We are open to working with your availability during normal business week hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm
