Project Manager (Client Services): Unpaid Internship

Digital Factory is searching for a Client Services Project Manager to oversee various initiatives within the organization. A successful candidate will be able to understand the business objectives of clients and manage projects to achieve business results. In this position, you will work closely with organizational leaders both inside and outside of Digital Factory to plan, administer, monitor, and report progress of projects.

THIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL:
The length of the internship is 6 to 9 months with the possibility of a full-time position based on performance, job requirements, and availability of the selected candidate.

  • Understand the client’s business to design effective processes, organizations, and change and learning programs to drive real business benefits
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Ensure availability and allocation of project resources   
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

  • Work in multiple disciplines across industries and build client knowledge and credibility quickly
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions
  • Design and conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner

DESIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Technology and software background required
  • Proven work experience in project management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Healthcare experience is a large plus
  • Experience in leading projects in a consulting environment
