Student Admissions Counselors
Student Admissions Counselors are an integral part of the Admissions Customer Service team, assisting prospective students, families and other campus visitors in person at the Office of Admissions / University Welcome Center and through email, phone, and online chat. This position requires individuals to be professional, responsible, well-organized, self-motivated, quick thinking, extremely customer service oriented, and knowledgeable about a wide-range topics related to all students (first year, transfer, second bachelors, etc.).
Position is typically 10 – 13 hours of work per week.
Minimum (required) qualifications
- Undergraduate student in good academic and disciplinary standing with the university
- Studying on-campus for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022
- Be available to attend mandatory trainings on Sunday August 22rd, Saturday August 28th and Sunday August 29th, and on Saturday January 22rd, and Sunday January 23rd
- Attend weekly staff meetings/trainings on Thursdays from 5:15PM-6:15PM
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (if you do not meet this, please connect with Robyn Kruger upon application)
- At least one year experience with either customer service, community service and/or servant leadership in a work environment or co-curricular setting (high school work will be considered)
