7th/8th Grade ELA Teacher

Description:
Plans, implements and assesses student learning experiences. Helps students make appropriate choices and grow academically. Facilitates parental involvement. This position is located at Bay View Middle School for grades 7 and 8. Start date is August 18, 2021.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Licensure and certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in Elementary Education (1777) or English Language Arts (1300) required. Successful completion of student teaching experience. Knowledge of current educational methodology and practices.

Experience in or knowledge of: 
Viable candidates will have a strong literacy and math background, be an active member of the school community and English language arts team, be able to create a positive and supportive classroom community, be organized and efficient, and to facilitate the district and school's mission to develop 21st Century Learners.
