The Opportunity  
NRG is seeking a Culture Intern who will join us for our 2021 Fall internship program. The intern will help support our social functions of the company. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to build a career in People Operations within the entertainment and tech industry. 
  • Start Date: Mid September 
  • Commitment: 12 weeks 

The Role 
  • Assist in fostering connection and collaboration through planning of company-wide events and initiatives. 
  • Assist with the coordination of client and employee gifts. 
  • Assist in the management of wellness programs for employees. 
  • Have an active role on company social committees and clubs.  
  • Assist in the publication of the monthly Culture Newsletter and Peer Recognition Program.

 Ideal Candidates 
  • 1+ year(s) of relevant coursework in business, communications or analysis/strategy preferred. 
  • Highly organized with good attention to detail. 
  • Strong communicator who has excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Able to successfully manage time and juggle competing priorities to ensure deadlines are met. 
  • Someone who can work independently with good project management skills. 
  • Candidates must be actively working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree and must be eligible to work in the US. 
  • Superior knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook). 
 
Position Type 
This is a temporary non-exempt remote position (for LA based employees there is the possibility of working out of our Culver City office and for NY out of our NYC office depending on COVID-19 capacity guidelines). We require interns to work a minimum of 16 hours per week. The hours of this position will be 9am-6pm PT. 

Work Environment 
This job typically operates in a professional office environment and will involve a hybrid of office and remote working due to circumstances of COVID-19. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
