The Workstation Intern will engage with our local Product Management & Business operations teams to learn about the challenges and strategy behind bringing award-winning computers to market. This role will expose candidates to both Desktop and Mobile (Notebook) Workstation products and the complexities and intricacies of their target markets. The Workstation Intern will interact across teams within the business unit to understand key trends in the industry.  

This role will help candidates grow their strategic and competitive thinking skills, by understanding competitive solutions in the market and helping to identify and influence Lenovo’s advantages and positioning.  

Responsibilities for the role :  
  • Perform market analysis based on industry reports such as IDC & NPD Monitor competitor’s information on products, pricing, and capabilities. 
  • Perform side by side competitive analysis of our portfolio vs our top competitors. 
  • Research and analyze financial and business data & build dashboards to present the data to senior execs. 
  • Support the Workstation team with ad-hoc projects and key strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications: 
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, or related field
Preferred Qualification:
Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint
Pursuing/completed Master’s degree in Business (MBA), Analytics
Working knowledge of Power BI, Qlik.
