Description and Requirements
Lenovo is one of the largest PC companies in the world with products including industry-leading ThinkPad, ThinkBook & IdeaPad notebook computers, ThinkCentre & IdeaCentre desktop computers and various smart devices including AR/MR/VR. Our Morrisville, NC Headquarters is the base for our Worldwide Quality organization, responsible for finding, fixing, and preventing defects in our systems. The ThinkPad Customer Quality Engineering team identifies the customer issues on ThinkPads, Accessories, and Smart IoT products and works with a global set of teams to address them.
Position Description: This position offers a broad range of lab-based experience inside ThinkPad Customer Quality Engineering. This is a hands-on position that will expand your understanding of PC hardware, subsystems, and the Windows OS & drivers, in addition to the workings of a global team within one of the world's leading technology firms.

Specific tasks will include:

- Work with engineering team members for problem reproduction and debug

- Assist with issue documentation, general lab organization & support, and special projects

- Assist technicians in reworking systems & building test jigs when needed

Basic Qualifications:

* Sophomore level or higher pursuing a BA or BS degree required

Preferred Qualifications: - Interest in new, emerging technologies
- Hobbyist or professional experience with PC assembly/repair preferred
- Self-motivated
- Good organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel
