Intern - Property Management & Reapplication - Business Undergraduate Year-Round

What Your Job Will Be Like

We are seeking a Year Round - Business Undergraduate Intern to join our dynamic team!
On any given day, you may be called on to:
  • Perform business operations that support Property Management & Reapplication
  • Perform data and trending analysis that direct management decisions
  • Utilize tools to develop and produce reporting with summary analysis
  • Execute database cleanup and updates in internal applications
  • Assist with website updates and electronic file management
  • Engage in projects to streamline business operations and program strategy
  • Collect information and develop monthly newsletter
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement activities
  • Carry out various ad hoc activities to include data entry, presentations, research, investigations, website updates and customer engagements

Posting Duration

Qualifications We Require

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:
  • Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited undergraduate program
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
  • U.S. citizenship

Qualifications We Desire

  • Logistics and/or Property Management experience
  • Familiar with business operations and continuous improvement activities
  • Strong MS Office Suite to include Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Access
  • Website creation and development
  • Ability learn quickly and work independently as needed
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Commitment to assignments, follow-through and reliable
  • IT knowledge and skills to include information management, web development, data querying, and reporting utilizing excel pivot tables and graphs.

About Our Team

The Property Management & Reapplication Department provides mission-enabling services that promote effective supply chain management through systems that account for property control, utilization, and disposition. Activities include conducting physical inventories of sensitive items, equipment, and precious metals; assisting with government-furnished property under contract; obtaining return on investment for excess property through reapplication and trade-ins; generating cost avoidance through acquisition transfers from other federal agencies; destruction services; and conducting high risk/export control reviews to ensure the nuclear non-proliferation goals of the nation are met.

Security Clearance
