Graphic Design Intern
Bierman ABA is seeking a highly creative Graphic Design Intern to support and create internal and external print, presentation, web and multimedia deliverables as a key member of the marketing team. This position will report to the Senior Director of Marketing.
Duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Contribute to the design and execution of images for websites, digital advertising, social media, PowerPoint presentations, and emails
- Make everything that comes across your desk beautiful, clear, and motivating
- Develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Brainstorm and develop a variety of concepts across platforms, formats and immersive types
- Ability to develop creative for multi-channel campaigns
- Other design related duties as needed
Requirements
Desired skills:
- Pursuing completion of a bachelor's degree in graphic design, business, or a related field
- Must be a self-starter who is able to manage remote work and speak up when they require more work or direction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability in MailChimp an added plus, but not a requirement
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
Qualifications:
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for 8 weeks virtually
- Must be returning to school/university/trade school/etc. the following semester
- Adobe Creative Suite is a must
- Preferred majors: Graphic Design, Communication Design, or Digital Media
- Demonstrated skills in typography, color, layout, and other design and production principles
- Ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback into revised work
