Restoration Specialist
The Restoration Specialist I position is a seasonal (6-Months, temporary), full time position as a part of The Land Conservancy’s 5-person Restoration Crew that is an integral part of the on-the-ground implementation of restoration and stewardship projects. Restoration Specialist duties include invasive plant management utilizing herbicide, land stewardship and maintenance, native plantings and landscape maintenance, and other tasks as directed.
The Restoration Specialist I position reports to the Restoration Crew Lead, Field Manager, Senior Restoration Ecologist, Senior Stewardship Manager, and Stewardship Director. This position is full time, 5 days per week, 40 hours per week.
The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County is a local, private, non-profit land trust working to safeguard and enhance farms, ranches, wildlands and parks for the benefit of people and wildlife on the Central Coast. The organization strives to create a fun, inspiring and team-oriented work environment.
This is a full-time, seasonal position that includes: THREE (3) days or 24 Hours Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays per season. Compensation range is $17.50 -$19.00 per hour.
