Aquatic Research Data Assistant
Working for the aquatic research data analyst and alongside other aquatic database team members, this position will be responsible for data entry and data formatting of current and historic aquatic survey, fisheries creel, and herptile observation data from across the state. In-house training in Microsoft Access, SQL Server, ArcGIS, and CPW proprietary software will be provided. Some opportunities to assist in aquatic fieldwork within the northeast region will be available during the summer field season.
Preference will be given to candidates currently enrolled in a college degree program involving aquatic, wildlife, or biological sciences. A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently are required. Also, a willingness to learn and a good attitude will be indispensable. Experience that would be helpful includes familiarity with Microsoft computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Access.
