Student researcher
Job description:
- Candidate will serve as a member of a research team that is studying changes occurring in teaching in higher education due to COVID-19.
- The candidate will complete approximately 100 hours of work before June 30, 2022. The weekly hours will vary depending on the stage of the research project.
- The candidate will finalize a literature review, assist the research team to distribute a survey to faculty at CSU and up to 5 other institutions of higher education, clean survey data to prepare it for analyzing, and participate in writing portions of a research manuscript.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Use technology (SPSS, Google Drive) to complete tasks (DP)
- Communicate with research team, CSU, and external institution partners (V/WC)
- Work independently and check in with research team for clarification, feedback, and next steps (PA, TW)
Required skills:
- Ability to locate, analyze, and synthesize literature relevant to the research project
- Clear and timely communication
- Writing skills commensurate with contributions to a research manuscript
Preferred skills:
- Have taken or currently enrolled in a research methods course
- Knowledge of SPSS
Colorado State University may conduct background checks on final candidates.
