Cyber Operations - Air Force Civilian Service Premier College Intern Program (PCIP)

General Information: The Civilian Operations Career Field is looking for a current college junior, or a first-year post-graduate student, interested in a 10-12 week paid summer internship at the Security Operations Center, United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) / North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), Peterson Space Force Base (SFB), CO. Applicants must be US citizens pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree (emphasis in Cyber Ops, Cyber Security, Wireless Engineering, or Software Engineering).
 
Position Purpose:  The Premier College Intern Program (PCIP) is designed to attract individuals currently enrolled full-time and in good academic standing in college who are seeking a dynamic career with the Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS). This is a paid temporary/seasonal PCIP position conducting Program Analyst (Cyber Operations) at the Security Operations Center, Peterson SFB, CO. Working alongside civilian and military experts the PCIP will provide analytical and technical expertise for bridging NORAD and USNORTHCOM cyberspace operations, plans and assessments to data/intelligence/information requirements, fulfillment, and security. As a PCIP Intern, you may qualify for a full-time position in our PALACE Acquire (PAQ) program once you complete your degree.
 
College junior’s with 60+ credit hours start at the GS-04 pay grade ($15.34/hour). Graduate students with 12+ credit hours start at the GS-05 pay grade ($17.16/hour).
 
Qualifications & Requirements
 
·        A U.S. citizen
·        A full-time student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
·        Pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree
·        In good academic standing with a GPA no less than 2.95
