Catering Service Staff

On Campus Employment Opportunity at the Lory Student Center- LSC Catering is Now Accepting Applications for Student Employees to work with us Servicing Events!

• Customer service conducive personality i.e. friendly and helpful (VC)
• Service of food and beverage at events at the Lory Student Center, deliveries to other areas of Campus and the Fort Collins Community (TW)
• Create a fun and inviting environment for guests, students, and staff to experience (GA)
• Knowledge of safe food handling procedures i.e. proper hand washing, safe temperature ranges for food service, and storage (PA)
• Be reliable/responsible for own weekly shifts, and able to help cover coworkers shifts when available and needed (PA)
• Able to learn use of all equipment, including routine cleaning and maintenance (CT/PS)
• Complete cleaning and sanitation after events, including some dishes, and food contact surfaces (PA)
• Ensuring Environmental Health and Safety Standards are followed (PA)
• Lifting glass racks, beverage servers and other catering equipment (IT)
• Ability to take direction from management, student management, and shift supervisors (TW)
• Constantly seek out tasks to perform/complete when on shift (PA)
• Critical thinking about job responsibilities both stated and implied (CT/PS)
• Computer proficiency to help with menu labels for events (DP/C)
• Available to work between 10-20 hours per week, hours and days vary depending on events
• Approximate openings = 7 (depending on staff availability)
• Hourly Pay Rate: employees start at $12.56 per hour
• Start Date: 2/7/2022
