Position Purpose: The Student Assistant assists with work in the lab of Dr. Huntington Potter doing cell culture and biochemical experiments related to Alzheimer’s disease and Down syndrome.

Job Description: The Department of Neurology has an opening for 1 student employee to work in laboratory of Huntington Potter, Ph.D. The lab is funded by grants from the National Institute of Health and private philanthropy. The lab investigates the role of apolipoprotein E and amyloid Beta in Alzheimer’s disease. Student will be expected to support Dr. Potter’s lab, in lab research experiments, under the supervision of the principal investigator (PI) and his senior lab scientists.
