Product/Test Engineer Intern Summer 2022

Overview:
In this role under supervision this intern candidate will be a part of the product, test, and validation engineering group and is responsible for supporting the development of integrated circuits. This candidate performs a variety of routine to complex duties in support of the manufacturing and development of integrated circuits. These activities include new product development, data analysis, and characterization within all aspects of the development lifecycle of an integrated circuit.
Responsibilities:
  • Be able to review test engineering methodologies with a background in digital and analog integrated circuits
  • Solving problems and development of new products within a cross functional team
  • Define project objectives, metrics and milestones, monitor project status, report on progress and take corrective action as appropriate.
  • Must be self-motivated, process driven, able to work across functional boundaries in a team environment, and have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office tools
  • Be able to review Statistical analysis, standard deviation, CPK, with experience in JMP desirable
  • National Instruments LabVIEW programming and/or engineering design lab experience is desirable
Qualifications:
Minimum:
  • Currently enrolled in and will be a returning student in the Fall working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • High school diploma 
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Eligibility for this position includes being a U.S. Person. Permenant residency acceptable
Preferred:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office™ products - Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Project
  • Be able to review Statistical analysis, standard deviation, CPK, with experience in JMP desirable.
  • National Instruments LabVIEW programming and/or engineering design lab experience is desirable
  • Be able to review test engineering methodologies with a background in digital and analog integrated circuits is desirable

The pay range starts at $20 p/hr and goes up based on experience
