SDL is looking to hire a part-time (30+ hours/week) custodian to join our Logistics Division. The hours for the position are M-F 4:30pm to 10:30pm. The successful candidate will, in accordance with established procedures, help clean SDL operated facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Cleans, vacuums, and empties trash in common areas, hallways, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, break rooms, and receptionist areas
- May perform routine maintenance of general facilities
- Remove snow as needed
- Buff and wax floors as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- One year of commercial cleaning experience and knowledge of commercial cleaning processes
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, etc.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. and spend substantial time walking, standing, pulling, and reaching
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic computer skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination upon date of hire
- Ability to use carpet extractors, scrubbers, buffers, or other automated cleaning tools
- Must be self-motivated, ability to pay close attention to cleaning details
- Comfortable working independently
