What you’ll do

Pre-Sales/Systems Engineering
The Pre-Sales teams partner with our sales teams on technical activities to maximize revenue opportunities, while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Do you possess a technical aptitude to solve complex big data business problems? In this internship position, you’ll have the opportunity to learn SAS core competencies in advanced analytics, data management, or visualization. Pre-Sales interns are part of a team providing consultative services and producing solution proposals for our customers.
Consulting
Our consulting teams provide support and consulting services to our customers. Are you interested in working and collaborating with others on projects and presenting findings? As a consulting intern, you might be responsible for solution development, implementation, and project closeout for specific solutions. Understanding, utilizing, and communicating best practice methodologies and industry standards is essential in these roles.
Statistics/Data Science
Statistics and Data Science are at the heart of what we do here at SAS. As an intern, you might create test data, build dashboards, and validate computations using the latest techniques and technologies. If you love crunching numbers and dealing with BIG data, this is the place to spend your summer! Please note: our Data Science roles are limited.
What we’re looking for

- Be a leader. You’re the one sitting in the front row of the class.
- Embrace technology. You geek out over the latest and greatest!
- You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2022.
- Targeted majors: Statistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
- You’ve got practical experience inside or outside of school or work.
Nice to haves
- Programming experience in Python, R, SAS, etc.
- Machine Learning
Timeline & Process
- Applications open: January 2022
