Nature Of Work:
This position would manage the wardrobe personnel, create appropriate paperwork to run costume changes throughout a show including theatre, dance and opera performances. This person would also manage a team of wardrobe practicum students over a full academic year. This would include assessment of accuracy and effectiveness of paperwork, assigned work duties, reflection of assignments and processes on each show and how future changes to future performance materials, assignments, and processes. Training will occur on the first show resulting in an overlap with the costume shop manager. No experience is required but welcome. Ideally this is a two semester position. Rehire for Spring will depend on performance in the fall. Dependability is critical to success in these positions. This position offers around 10 hours a week but will be adjusted based on show schedule. We are looking to hire 1 student for this position and would like the new employee to start within the first few weeks of the semester (1/19).

Some Examples Of Work:

- Review and reformat wardrobe run paperwork from costume designer
- Complete wardrobe training for 186 wardrobe practicum students 
- Attend Designer Runs, Dress Rehearsals, and potentially all performances of specific theatre shows
- Answering questions from ward robe crew about running the show
- Supervising and running through quick changes with wardrobe crew
