English Department Work Study
The Department of English in the College of Liberal Arts has one opening for a student staff assistant with morning or afternoon availability in the main office of the English Department. This is a work study position so you must have a work study award to apply. We are seeking applicants that have solid work ethics, and proficiency in MS Office. Previous Office experience strongly preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Responding to student and faculty inquiries.
· Assisting students with English Department paperwork.
· Assisting staff with administrative duties.
· Answering phone and transferring calls to appropriate staff member.
· Mail distribution

Position Requirements:
· This is a work study position; applicant must be eligible for work- study to apply.
· Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills, a positive customer service attitude, a professional and pleasant demeanor.
· Proficiency in MS Office experience preferred.
· Dependable and a willingness to learn are a must.
Start Date: August 16, 2022
Pay Rate: $12.56
10.0 to 15.0 hours per week
Hours available: T/TR 8:45-noon /1:00-4:45pm
