Graduate TEACHING and RESEARCH ASSISTANTS
The Department of Geosciences invites graduate students to apply for Teaching Assistant positions for the summer and fall 2022.
Job Description:
· Seeking self-motivated, multi-tasking, organized geosciences graduate students to provide teaching and research assistance for summer and fall 2022.
Responsibilities may include:
· Work with faculty to arrange and set-up lesson plans, research projects, and equipment.
· Assist and instruct students during lab times.
· Organizing or preparing materials (e.g., powerpoints, samples, equipment) for the lab sessions;
· Grading, proctoring exams, other direct course support (will require background check if there is access to protected student information)
· Other tasks as needed that do not involve access to protected student information
Required skills and experience: Must be graduate student in the Department of Geosciences at Colorado State University
Preferred: Minerology, hydrogeology, Sed-Strat, geomorphology
Pay Rate: $1,950/month
