Graduate Success Assistant
We are seeking two MSW students interested in serving as student assistants to support the course instructors for SOWK 286 and SOWK 384. The student assistants will be paired with SOWK 286 and support the students within the course to ensure success and the facilitators for SOWK 384. Please read the following information about the course assistant roles and application procedures.
Role:
- Mentor referred students to ensure success
- Create individual learning/success plans for students
- Model professional behavior and problem solving
- Share your professional experiences to help students learn
- Consult with and guide the facilitators in problem solving
- Communicate with instructors
Your time commitment should be an average of 10 hours per week. $15.00-$20.00 per hour
Goal Availability:
Tuesdays: 8a-10:45a
SOWK 384 and SOWK 286
Thursdays: 9:15a-11a
Support facilitators with their agency groups and pull-out students as needed
Office hours: Be available by e-mail to help students. If a student needs to meet with you, then be available to schedule that meeting.

Applicants must be a student in the MSW program at CSU.
Course assistants must sign in to Time Clock and record your hours
The position would be for 7-10 hours per week from August 23-May 15
The hourly rate will be $15-18 per hour
There is no tuition coverage
This will be a full academic year commitment
