Student Development Coordinator - Office of Engagement and Extension (Pay Range in Details)

 The pay range for this position is $12.56- $17.50/hr. 
 
The development team for the Office of Engagement and Extension is seeking a Development Student Coordinator. The OEE Development Student Coordinator will assist the team with communications, scholarships, stewardship, events and other various operational tasks.
 
What You’ll Be Doing 
 
  • Impact Reports and Donor Materials: Gather and compile information from colleagues to illustrate how the how donor can impact or has impacted OEE through philanthropic contributions. DP, V/WC, C, TW
  • Assist with sending e-acknowledgements to donors and prepare custom acknowledgements. PA, DP, V/WC
  • Design advancement-related Canva templates for each department within OEE. V/WC, C
  • Create content for regular donor segment communications. PA, V/WC, C
  • Support OEE development team with annual tasks such as end-of-year stewardship, appeals, crowdfunding campaigns, fund audits, and scholarship process. DP, TW
  • Collaborate with OEE colleagues to manage stakeholder lists and request timely updates in Advance. TW, L
  • Build and manage digital and physical donor material inventory for OEE Advancement. L, CD
  • Aid in Event Planning/ Preparation: Help with tasks for event planning such as verifying the guest list, printing name tags, organizing handout materials, and supporting event follow-up. GC, CT/PS, DP, V/WC, CD, IT, C, L
  • Event Assistance: Help with miscellaneous tasks throughout events such as venue set up and event clean up, greeting guests, passing out name tags, hanging guests’ coats, handing out materials, etc..  GC, CT/PS, DP, V/WC, CD, IT, C, L
  • General office tasks, including data entry and research, running reports, meeting scheduling and planning. TW
 
What We are Looking For 
 
Required Qualifications  
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work to maximize productivity, and respond effectively to change
  • Ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment, and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be willing to work fall and spring semester
  • The team will be in the office Mon, Tue, and Wed with in office hours varying on Thur, and Fri. The hours worked must be during those days during regular business hours of 8am – 5pm with 75% hours worked on Mon, Tue, and Wed. Students are expected to work 12 hours a week.
 
Preferred Qualifications (but not required)  
  • Understand the importance of cultivating and maintaining donor relationships and confidentiality
  • Excellent ability to promote a culture of support and inclusion to students, staff, faculty, and donors, and work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
  • Ability to assist with design of communications from and on behalf of OEE development team
 
Additional Job Details 
  • Pay rate: $12.56 - $16.50/hr for undergraduate students; $13.75-$17.50/hr for graduate students. UA student pay rates are commensurate with class standing and previous experience

The Office of Engagement and Extension (OEE) was organized in 2006 to advance CSU’s engagement and outreach missions.  OEE includes CSU Extension (including Colorado 4-H), CSU Extended Campus (including CSU Online), the Colorado Water Center, the Salazar Center for North American Conservation and other vibrant programs that engage the teaching, research, extension, and service missions of CSU. Our development team is part of University Advancement, the Division of University Advancement is integral to achieving and sustaining institutional excellence through fundraising and engagement efforts.
