Student Admin Assistant I
Job Description
The Student Admin Assistant I position is in the Office of the Dean, College of Natural Sciences with the Director of Inclusion. We are looking for a student who can work Fall 2022 - Spring 2023. This is a work-study ONLY position; applicants must be eligible for a work-study to apply.
- Seeking a self-motivated, multi-tasking, organized, student employee who can demonstrate verbal and written communication skills.
- May work up 10-15 hours/week, pending work study award amount
- Must be able to work during spring semester
Job/Duties Responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Inclusion including general clerical work including calendar management, copying, filing, and emails (DP/V/WC/PA/TW/L)
- Outreach to engage students in the Colorado Alliance for Minority Participation (CO/WY AMP) program (TW/L/C)
- Assist with gathering and reporting data (DP)/CT/PS)
- Updating or preparing reports and lists (DP/CT/PS)
- Develop marketing materials (newsletters, Instagram, flyers, webpage updates, etc.) (V/WC/C)
- Event support with the Dean’s Office, College of Natural Sciences V/WC/L)
- Assist with special projects as assigned (TW)
Required Skills:
- Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality as required by Dean’s Office, College of Natural Sciences (PA)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail (DP/PA)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (V/WC)
- Creative mindset and innovative way of thinking (CT/PS)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (DP)
- Dependability, politeness and excellent customer service skills (PA)
- Must be able to work occasional shifts outside normal business hours, including some weekends, to attend/assist with graduation, Ram Welcome and other ceremonies and events (TW)
Hourly Pay Rate: $14.00
