The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge! 

Responsibilities:
We have a few options based on intern skills, experience, goals and then-current product priorities:
  • Market and Product Research: compile available information on topic relevant to product planning 2024 and present recommendations to team, this research would be done online, with outreach to internal teams at Zebra
  • Develop and document new use cases for the ZPA product based on new data sources or combining existing data in new ways for retail and adjacent verticals
  • Research and present to team a profile for verticals and sub-verticals targeted by ZPA product to assist in developing new use cases for product
  • Process development and documentation: we have a culture of continuous improvement and the intern could help us by analyzing and enhancing at least one of them
  • Writing product requirements: as a product team, we are gathering and documenting requirements for the software product's future releases, the intern could own a specific upcoming feature and develop requirements that are ready for a product manager to pull into a release

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program (BS, BA, MS, MA,or MBA) in Business, Marketing, Business Analytics/Data Science, (Product) Management, Math/Statistics
  • Must be graduating in December 2023, May 2024, December 2024, May 2025, or December 2025
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work on independent projects, qualify sources and organize information
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft business applications including: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management, follow through)
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrates good judgement in decision making, applies knowledge and experience to guide decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
  • Experience in retail, warehouse or logistics setting
  • Experience using analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau etc.

Salary: USD 19.00 - USD 42.50 Hourly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
