Data Management IV - Remote

THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO CURRENT RESIDENTS OF COLORADO ONLY

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL 5:00 PM ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2022

This position is intended to be 100% remote however it may still be required to report to the listed address at the discretion of the supervisor and based on business need.

The salary range for this posting is -
$2,555.54 - $2,851.85 Biweekly
$5,537.00 - $6,179.00 Monthly 

This position serves as the Unemployment Insurance Division’s data manager, applying a unique level of knowledge and expertise to managing the UI Division’s data. This position works with external entities who utilize UI’s data to ensure appropriate controls and data sharing agreements are in place, and will work with individuals within UI who create/intake the data, those who process the data, and those who analyze/report the data for UI’s operational usage to develop processes, procedures and policies to effectively manage UI’s data. This position will inventory, monitor and ensure data is handled in compliance with state and federal laws, including Federal Tax Information (FTI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII), as well as serve as a liaison to the IRS and SSA to ensure compliance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Substitutions:

Additional appropriate experience will substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment.

AND

Three years of professional experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience performing extract, transform, load operations and/or statistical functions on large data sets
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State laws, rules and regulations related to data compliance, security and audits
  • Experience performing alike duties as a State of Colorado classified employee.
