Who we are: Athena Education is India's only study abroad institute working with students on their Holistic development. Founded 9 years ago by two Princeton graduates, Poshak Agrawal and Rahul Subramaniam, Athena is headquartered in Gurgaon, with offices in Mumbai and Bangalore, and caters to students from 15 countries.
Athena's vision is to help students become the best version of themselves, and the mission is to create 50,000 global leaders. Athena's transformative, holistic life coaching program embraces both depth and breadth, science and the humanities, and encourages students not only to deepen their theoretical knowledge but also to apply that knowledge to address practical issues confronting society, both locally and globally.
Role Overview: This role is an opportunity to mentor and support India’s high-school students in their dreams to attend Ivy-League universities. Athena is searching for Fellows who will drive the team towards creative excellence and support the team and students through the admissions process, infusing creativity into all college essays/projects. The fellowship is an opportunity for the Fellows to explore Indian education system, culture, food, spiritualism, and create an impact.
Through Athena's Policy wing, you could learn and contribute to efforts towards impacting Indian Education Policies.
Athena will provide a stipend, paid travel back and forth to and from India, paid travel to 4 Indian destinations, visa support, Hindi language training (for those interested), and local accommodation.
We are a young team that has gathered to create a unique liberal arts environment in Gurgaon, Mumbai, and Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic planning of a student's profile towards holistic development and maximizing chances of admission to Ivy League colleges.
- Defining their vision and skills to build students' growth track.
- Recommend best courses and tracks to ensure students' future success.
- Guiding the students through implementing creative projects - ranging from sciences to liberal arts.
- Ensure student success by achieving project OKRs and admissions results
- Monitor and review student growth and suggest corrective measures to ensure students' future success.
- Ensure that the operations and activities are conducted to a T for the best interest of the students and their goals.
- Conduct student and parent meetings (with Managers, Consulting), understand the nuances of student/parent needs and address them effectively and elegantly, and communicate student progress periodically.
- Contribute to Skill Building of the students via Academies
- Support with Writing of creative content
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's from a top college abroad

Location & Work Environment
We are based out of 1. The Vatika Triangle; Gurgaon, India, 2. The Quorum, Lower Parel, Mumbai, and 3. WeWork, Bellundur, Bangalore.
● We have built a creative space in a top corporate building in a prime location in Gurgaon.
● The office is on M.G. Road, a 2-minute walk from the M.G. Road Metro Station.
Our team comprises creative and colorful characters, all goal-oriented and hungry for growth (and healthy snacks). The work environment is formal and playful, as we all strive to get things done while sipping Italian coffee brewed in-house.
