Description / Key Responsibilities:
This internship will be a split position that will provide the intern with marketing and customer service experience. The first half of this job will be within the marketing department. This employee will need to coordinate with the Marketing Coordinator in order to expand Vacayzen’s customer reach and enhance brand awareness. The other half of this internship opportunity will be within the Customer and Sales portion of business operations. This employee will need to coordinate with the Director of Sales and Customer Service Specialists in order to give our guests the best experience during their scheduled visit to 30A.
Marketing - 2 days a week
- Execute strategic goals for brand reach, reputation, and awareness.
- Build brand awareness and reputation via electronic, physical, and interpersonal sources.
- Coordinate with designing physical marketing (billboards, advertisements, etc).
- Design and execute social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn).
- Communicate with customers and guests via social media.
- Help develop and enhance key metrics to determine success of marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator and the Director of Sales on a daily basis.
Customer Service & Sales - 2 days a week
- Take inbound calls from existing or potential customers.
- Schedule new reservations through softwares such as IntegraSoft and SalesForce.
- Coordinate with employees within other departments to ensure guests have a great experience with Vacayzen services.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Help schedule service requests for guests.
- Monitor website chats and texting with customers.
- Monitor emails with staff and customers.
- Other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Manager.
Requirements:
- Must currently be enrolled in college or be a 2023 graduate.
- Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable source of transportation to and from work.
- The internship program is May 12 through August 13, interns must be available to work the entire duration of the internship program.
