E-Commerce Sales Manager

The E-Commerce Sales Manager will work consistently to manage our online products. They will work directly with new leads and convert them into profitable opportunities. Their role is to educate potential clients with our products and services and customize the services to their business needs. Specifically, they will understand the value our products bring to managing a client’s meat department. This includes ROI, operational efficiency, traceability from cut to carcass profit-loss analysis, and meat sales planning. The E-Commerce Sales Manager will build interest in our services with a strategic selling strategy and overcome obstacles successfully to create long-term partnerships and profitability. This is a remote, home-based position and does not require commuting to an office or relocating. This is part-time to full-time job opportunity depending on the candidate.  
Primary Job Functions:
·        Influences company culture by driving profitability and modeling desired behavior.
·        Proactively identifies, solicits, and motivates targeted prospects using a variety of methods such as cold-calling, lead qualifying, presenting proposals & sales funnel management. 
·        When possible, seeks referrals from current clients to develop new opportunity pipelines.
·        Maintains and manages accurate records using in-house, customized CRM tool.
·        Prepares, schedules, and ensures sales/service agreements are complete.
·        Manages objections and justifies services and/or pricing.
·        Demonstrates online applications and benefits with goal of increasing use of applications.
·        Meets monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
·        Prepares for client appointments strategically through client research, tailoring sales materials, and leveraging available resources. 
·        Contacts, develops relationships, and schedules online meetings with prospective clients and follows through to closure.
·        Checks email and voicemail daily to respond to any time-sensitive messages.
·        Updates sales presentations, user guides and videos, and application processes.
·        Makes recommendations to internal team regarding online products for web development.
·        Maintains and improves social media marketing for products and services.
·        Maintains website’s User Management System.
·        Occasionally individual will be asked to assist in other activities including set up and organize industry meetings, help facilitate industry standards implementation, and assist in other company services.
·        Individual will report to the company owner.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
·        3+ years of experience/formal training in meat cutting and meat animal harvesting.
·        2+ years of experience/formal training in supervising a meat fabrication line, meat department, or meat journeyman or butchery experience in a meat retail or wholesale environment.
·        Customer service, ability to listen to customer concerns and address their needs.
·        Basic knowledge of selling techniques and confidence in ability to sell.
·        Willingness to be trained and adhere to company selling processes.
·        Must be a SUPERIOR self-starter – ability to manage oneself with little oversight.
·        Thorough knowledge of Meat Solutions’ products, services.
·        Strong social and communication skills. Using genuine personality to build natural rapport.
·        Ability to communicate clearly through oral and written communications.
·        Highly detail oriented and organized.
·        Ability to type quickly and accurately.
·        Skilled in use of MS Office products, CRMs, and general computer knowledge and use of internet applications.
·        This job requires sitting at a desk, working on a computer, performing client sales calls and emails, conducting web meetings, utilizing web demo tools, and regular follow-up.
·        Ability to interact with other company associates to ensure client needs are met.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
·        Our business is tailored to the meat industry and experience in carcass and retail meat cutting, livestock harvest practices, labeling and packaging requirements are preferred.
·        A meat science degree is preferred.

Hourly Wage & Office Set-Up
·        This is a remote, home-based position and does not require commuting or relocation.
·        This is a part-time to full-time job with a flexible schedule. (Approximately 30-40 hours per week).
·        This is an hourly position. Hourly wage starts at $35/hour and commensurate based on preferred experience.
·        Individual is required to have home office set up which includes business internet (50+Mbps speed and dedicated work area to perform daily job duties).
·        Company will provide phone service, computer, access to company time-keeping system and CRM database.
