Data Science Internship
This Internship will run from Mid April/May - Aug 2023
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics/Astronomy,
- Strong foundation in Machine Learning and Statistical Analysis
- Programming experience in Python, R. and conversant with AWS
- Knowledge and some experience with NLP
- Excellent communicator and team player
Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead data scientist on research and development
- Data preparation and normalization
- Analyzing and labeling data
- Create machine learning models to achieve classification into specific categories
- Write code in python
- Validate models and check for drift
- Collaborate with the team to deploy models
- Weekly team meetings for progress update and result discussions.
- Assist with other duties/special projects as assigned
