Signage Coordinator- LSC Catering

Job Responsibilities:


 

Model CSU Principles of Community


  • The student signage coordinator has an abiding commitment to serving the diverse needs of the University community, the active promotion of an equitable and inclusive environment, and the development and enhancement of collaborative relationships.

 

Generate Signage

  • review service orders in event planning program- EMS, to discern offerings and inform signage
  • type and print accurate signage for food and beverage offerings using standardized templates
  • communicate with catering team to identify common allergens in standard and custom menu options- via in person conversations, email, phone calls
  • manage sign holder inventory: keep holders clean and organized, report damaged product and make requests for replacements

Coordination

  • deliver complete menu signage to catering service area on schedule; load sign holders and displays with printed signage
  •  establish organized filing of reusable signage for commonly served options
  • email and save signage files for reference or modification
  •  additional clerical duties and special projects may be assigned as available
  • maintain the LSC Catering signage coordinator email account, regularly communicate with appropriate staff

The Ideal Candidate:

  • will have demonstrated computer proficiency including Windows, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • will have ability to attend weekly menu meeting on Mondays 1:00pm-2:00pm
  •  will be able to work 6-8 hours throughout a week, during normal business hours
  •  will have strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • will be able to adapt to late changes to menus and special food requests-adjusting signage
  •  would be interested in, and available for occasionally working in other capacities within the catering department (ex. helping serve food at events, help with set up, etc.)

-Must be a current CSU student with active enrollment
-Enjoy a flexible schedule, we’ll schedule around your classes and engagements

Hourly Pay Rate: employees start at $13.65 per hour
