Economics Undergraduate Paid Research Internships - Summer 2023

The Department of Economics is offering paid research internships for undergraduate economics majors and minors in summer 2023.

Duties/Responsibilities: Seeking responsible and self-motivated (PA) economics majors or minors with strong data skills (DP) and communication skills (V/WC) to work as research assistants for department faculty and outside agencies.
 
Responsibilities depend upon the particular internship.
Pay is typically $15 per hour for 10 hours per week, up to a maximum of $2500. 
Applicants can indicate which internship they prefer. However, the department may assign applicants to other internships if necessary.

Required qualifications: Must be a current economics major or minor and have completed/passed either ECON 235 or ECON 335 before the internship begins. Other qualifications, if any, are described in the undergraduate research assistantships PDF.
 
Number of openings: 3
 
Salary: Pay is typically $15 per hour for 10 hours per week, up to a maximum of $2500. 
 
Anticipated start date: May 15, 2023
