Grand River Ditch Field Technician
The Water Supply and Storage Company is seeking a field technician to work on the Grand River Ditch during the Summer of 2023. The Grand River Ditch is one of the oldest transmountain diversions in Colorado, located above 10,000 feet in Rocky Mountain National Park. The Grand River Ditch delivers water from the headwaters of the Colorado River to the Poudre River where it is used for irrigation and municipal purposes. Breathtaking views, abundant wildlife and quite, peaceful environs make this one of the most attractive workplaces imaginable!
Work includes road and ditch maintenance operations, light vehicle and camp building maintenance. applicants must have some equipment experience. Backhoe,excavator, mini -x or front end loader experience preferred. Must be able to live with 2 other coworkers in company housing in remote location for 10 days at a time. No alcohol permitted on company property. Valid driver's license required.
