Overview: As the membership and annual giving coordinator, you will facilitate and assist with the creation, execution, and assessment of our membership retention, acquisition, and annual giving programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about member engagement, supporter relations, and cultivation strategy. In this role you will work in partnership with internal membership, development, and marketing teams to help devise membership growth and retention strategies, expand our annual giving programs, and increase member engagement across direct marketing channels.

Primary Responsibilities:
·        Coordination of member retention programs, utilizing direct mail and integrated marketing tools to drive member retention and engagement.
·        Assist with the coordination of member acquisition and annual giving campaigns to implement and execute strategies and programs to drive member and supporter growth and engagement.
·        Maintain in-depth reports and analysis related to direct marketing program performance; provide input for additional analysis and reporting.
·        Assist with direct mail marketing list pulls for large-scale membership acquisition and annual giving appeal programs.
·        Assist with proofing direct mail materials throughout various production stages including initial proofs, final draft proofs, production proofs, and variable data proofs.
·        Coordinate the development of campaign creative elements for online landing pages and email marketing efforts after direct mail drop date by collaborating with supervisor and the Marketing & Communications Department.
·        Collaborate with Membership Services Processing Team to ensure proper campaign set up in CRM for processing and customer support, prior to campaign launch.
·        Assist with coordinating and maintaining email engagement series after a membership transaction occurs, as well as after an annual giving transaction occurs.  
·        Lead special offer premium inventory management; create and maintain special offer fulfillment cost reporting.
·        Coordinate any additional special online promotions focused on either membership and/or annual giving throughout the fiscal year as requested by supervisor or the Director of Membership Services.
·        Maintain quality retention and engagement opportunities through the online membership account experience.
·        Create and maintain a monthly report detailing where non-event memberships are sourced from each month.
·        Help with concept development for special offer premiums and packages.
·        Work with supervisor in reviewing monthly expense reports. Ensure monthly expenses and revenue are allocated correctly and analyze unknown costs.
·        Stay current on postal regulations, industry trends, and competitor activity. Help identify new and cost-effective opportunities for membership promotions.  
·        Work collaboratively with the organization’s cross-functional teams to drive member and supporter program innovations, including the successful integration of the organization’s AutoPay program, and to share program knowledge with internal teams to drive alignment and accountability.
·        Other membership and annual giving-related duties as assigned.

Skills, Qualifications and Abilities:
·        A passion for Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever’s mission, as well as knowledge and appreciation of conservation, hunting, and the outdoors.
·        An energetic, well-organized, and detailed individual who has a strong track record of workplace success.
·        A strategic thinker with an innovative mindset and strengths in efficiency, timeliness, multi-tasking, teamwork, and attention to detail.
·        Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field
·        3+ years of related work experience
·        1-3 years’ experience working in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or another Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system preferred.
·        Proven experience with program reporting and analysis; must be able to understand and analyze data to determine data relevancy for data-driven decision making.
·        Experience executing direct marketing programs and building annual giving strategies a plus.
·        Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
·        Experience using Power BI a plus.
·        Demonstrated project management experience with strong attention to detail.
·        Proven people skills to coordinate projects and achieve desired results.
·        Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·        Ability to work independently as well as in a dynamic team environment.
·        Knowledge and support of the organization’s mission, goals, and activities; must have a strong conservation ethic.
