The Spanish Language Translator will provide both written translation and verbal interpretation services for Housing & Dining Services; verbal interpretation duties including but not limited to in-person and virtual department meetings, and training sessions, and written department communications and campus-wide communications from the Office of the President among others. (DP, V/WC, GC)

Required Skills: 

Bachelor's degree in Spanish or related field, or demonstrated strong Spanish speaking, reading, and writing ability. 

ACTFL Advanced High Proficiency, with excellent written and oral English and Spanish communication skills, or demonstrated equivalency.

Demonstrated experience with translation and interpretation (CD)

Preferred Skills:

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality (PA)

Strong attention to detail 

Ability to prioritize and schedule multiple tasks (CT/PS, SR)

Willingness to learn new things and be open to challenges 

Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams
