Student Administrative Assistant (Off-Campus Work Study)

This is an off-campus work study position; applicant must be eligible for a work-study award to apply. This is an in-person role (with potential for hybrid) at 2407 LaPorte Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80521.

The McKinney-Vento program within the Language, Culture & Equity Department within Poudre School District is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student administrative assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various administrative tasks and initiatives aimed at enhancing student well-being. The primary responsibilities include creating program forms and templates, data entry, preparing hygiene and household kits, providing financial assistance to students, developing community resource information sheets, and researching and coordinating communication of community resources.

Qualifications:

  • Must qualify for a CSU work-study award for the 2023-2024 school year (If you have questions regarding your work-study eligibility, please email studentemployment@colostate.edu)
  • Personal and professional commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Must be able to fully support Poudre School District’s mission and vision
  • Knowledge in graphic design and print/digital creation
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal relations skills
  • Be self-motivated and skilled at working independently and as a team member
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Microsoft Excel). Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Canva
  • Written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and pay attention to detail
  • Must be available to start during the spring semester (hope to extend to the next school year as well).
  • Must be able to attend work and arrive in a timely manner

Schedule: varied, but will average around 10 hours/week (will work with class schedule)
