Salary:

$15/hour, events and camps worked ranging from $75-$150 + tips

Description / Key Responsibilities:

This internship will be heavily involved in the event planning that goes along with the 30A location throughout the peak summer season. These experiences include beach bonfires, FabTap, surf camps, and other trips and adventures. As the Hospitality and Events Intern, the employee will work alongside the Bonfire Manager, Event Coordinator, and any other individuals that are involved in the planning and execution of scheduled events.



 

Hospitality & Events - 4 days a week

  • Coordinate all events, special events, and catering for the company including permitting.
  • Pulling required permits for events and bonfires.
  • Communication with customers and county.
  • Stay up to date with beach event regulations and rules.
  • Help with preparing needed for events and adventures.
  • Backfilling missing or low items.
  • Coordinating with bonfire attendants.
  • Coordinating with FabTap attendants.
  • Find staffing for all events.
  • Organizing the bonfire room.
  • Organizing FabTap closet/inventory.
  • Coordinating needs of vehicle usage to Delivery Operations Manager and Beach Service Manager.
  • Coordinate with the Bonfire Manager, Event Coordinator, and the Director of Sales & Service.


 

Requirements:

  • Must currently be enrolled in college or be a 2024 graduate.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable source of transportation to and from work.
  • The internship program is May 13th through August 10th, interns must be available to work the entire duration of the internship program.
